Milad Hospital, with a land area of 70,000 square meters and a built-up area of 123,000 square meters, is one of the most equipped and unique hospitals in Iran and even the Middle East. The construction of the hospital began in 1977 but was halted in 1979 due to various reasons, including issues arising from the imposed war. In late 1988, the project was handed over to the Housing Company of Iran. In accordance with the agreement of the Social Security Organization, the Housing Company carried out a new design in terms of architecture, structure, and mechanical and electrical installations in 1990. The implementation of the project with new plans began on a limited scale in 1990 and was finally completed in 1999.
