Its purpose is to plan, guide, set policies, coordinate, and oversee the execution of anti-smuggling activities related to goods and foreign currency. This headquarters operates with independent legal personality, financial autonomy, and administrative independence, and it is managed according to the regulations governing organizations affiliated with the presidency. The head of this organization is appointed as the special representative of the President and the Head of the Central Headquarters for Combating the Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Exchange. Currently, Seyed Majid Razavi holds this position.
