Sina Darou is recognized as the first manufacturer of ophthalmic sterile products and respiratory aerosols in Iran. Established in 1963 under the name Dopar and licensed from P.O.S. France, the company began by producing eye drops. It expanded its operations by producing other medications under the licenses of companies such as Merrell Toraude, Denver Chemical, Pharmaton, and Aspro Nicholas.
After the Islamic Revolution, following decisions by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Sina Darou expanded its dedicated product lines. The company’s production now includes various types of eye drops, solutions, and ointments, as well as respiratory aerosols, nasal sprays, nasal drops, gels, creams, ointments, skin lotions, and ampoules. Currently, Sina Darou not only supplies medications for domestic patients but also exports its products to neighboring countries.
